Our technology combines smart hardware, real-time monitoring, and advanced analytics to protect buildings throughout construction and ongoing operations.<br><br>We are looking for an engineering student to join our Solution Engineering team and support the technical design of <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/wint">WINT</a> solutions for construction and operational projects.<br><br>In this hands-on role, you will work with experienced engineers and Sales teams, review real building designs, and help turn project requirements into practical solutions presented and deployed for <a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/wint">WINT</a> customers.<br><br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><ul>
<li>Review MEP, plumbing, and construction drawings to understand building water systems.</li>
<li>Support Solution Engineers in designing water management and leak mitigation solutions.</li>
<li>Prepare technical markups, system layouts, equipment selections, and solution documentation.</li>
<li>Analyze project information and identify relevant systems, risers, equipment, and monitoring points.</li>
<li>Support the preparation of technical proposals and submittal packages.</li>
<li>Work with Solution Engineering, Sales, Product, and Deployment teams to develop practical, implementable solutions.</li>
<li>Help improve engineering tools, templates, and technical documentation.</li>
</ul><br><br>Qualifications<br><ul>
<li>Current student in Mechanical, Civil, Construction, Building Systems, or a related engineering field.</li>
<li>At least one year of study remaining before graduation.</li>
<li>Available to work up to 80 hours a month.</li>
<li>Interest in building systems, plumbing, HVAC, construction, IoT, or smart-building technologies.</li>
<li>Ability to read, or willingness to learn how to read, engineering and construction drawings.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Detail-oriented and comfortable working on several projects simultaneously.</li>
<li>Good English communication skills and ability to work effectively with an engineering team.</li>
</ul><br><br>Preferred<br><ul>
<li>Previous exposure to MEP, plumbing, HVAC, construction, or building systems.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or similar engineering tools.</li>
<li>Experience from an engineering internship, student position, or technical project.</li>
