<p><strong>Role Profile: </strong>Scrum Master</p><h3>Role Summary</h3><p>The Scrum Master is responsible for enabling Agile practices within the team, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Acting as a servant leader, this role removes impediments, promotes collaboration, and drives successful delivery in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul>
<li>Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).</li>
<li>Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and the Scrum framework.</li>
<li>Identify and remove obstacles to ensure smooth delivery.</li>
<li>Promote a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Product Owner to ensure backlog clarity and prioritization.</li>
<li>Track and report key metrics (velocity, burndown charts) to stakeholders.</li>
<li>Ensure transparency and effective communication across teams and departments.</li>
<li>Support scaling Agile practices across multiple teams when required.</li>
<li>Drive adoption of Agile best practices and ensure compliance with organizational standards.</li>
<li>Mentor new Scrum Masters and contribute to the Agile community within the organization.</li>
<li>Facilitate cross-team coordination for dependencies and shared deliverables.</li>
<li>Assist in defining and refining team goals and objectives aligned with business priorities.</li>
<li>Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for process optimization.</li>
<li>Support risk management and proactively address delivery challenges.</li>
<li>Champion team health by monitoring workload, morale, and engagement.</li>
<li>Ensure proper use of Agile tools and maintain accurate documentation in Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.</li>
<li>Participate in release planning and help align sprint goals with release objectives.</li>
<li>Advocate for continuous learning by organizing workshops, training sessions, and knowledge sharing activities.</li>
</ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><h3>Education:</h3><p>Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).</p><h3>Certifications:</h3><ul>
<li>Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) required.</li>
<li>Additional Agile certifications (SAFe, PMI-ACP, ICAgile) are a plus.</li>
</ul><h3>Knowledge, Experience & Skills</h3><ul>
<li>Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).</li>
<li>Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.</li>
<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.</li>
<li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).</li>
<li>Knowledge of software development lifecycle and project management principles.</li>
<li>3–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.</li>
<li>Proven track record of delivering projects in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.</li>
<li>Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.</li>
<li>Exposure to scaling frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) is desirable.</li>
