About this role
<p>An excellent opportunity for IT system admin came up with our client, a hospitality company based in Dubai:</p><h3>What will you do?</h3><ul>
<li>Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware</li>
<li>Handle business-critical IT tasks and procedures that provide a commercial advantage in a global marketplace</li>
<li>Enable faster and more innovative business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights</li>
<li>Monitor system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely</li>
<li>Basic website design and development (Squarespace & Shopify)</li>
<li>Support different departments with basic graphic design work, printing material, etc.</li>
<li>Replace and upgrade defective or outdated components when necessary</li>
<li>Document any processes that employees need to follow in order to successfully work within our computing system</li>
<li>Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups</li>
</ul><h3>What are we looking for?</h3><ul>
<li>Min 2 yrs experience as an IT system admin in hospitality sector.</li>
<li>Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent</li>
<li>Experience in managing and supporting servers, backup, and storage hardware</li>
<li>Knowledge in maintaining websites and SEO</li>
<li>Experience in systems monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting</li>
<li>Strong command of MS Office & Google Workspace tools</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines</li>
<li>Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly</li>
<li>Experience with both iOS and Apple products are MUST</li>
