<p>Role Title: Child Development Psychologist (PhD)</p><h3>Role Type: Contractor</h3><h3>Location: Remote</h3><p><a href="https://himalayas.app/companies/micro1">micro1</a> is engaging Psychologists to contribute their expertise to a customer's project at the intersection of psychology and technology. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. This opportunity is especially suited for contributors who have a background in research or academic work related to child development or developmental psychology, with or without direct clinical experience.</p><h3>Scope of Work</h3><ol> <li>Evaluate, review, and annotate data sets relevant to child development and developmental psychology for AI system training.</li> <li>Provide detailed insights and feedback on the accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and developmental relevance of data and model outputs.</li> <li>Contribute expert analysis to scenario development, test cases, and real-world situations involving children’s learning and behavior.</li> <li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to inform model improvements and ensure psychological integrity in AI interactions.</li> <li>Create or refine guidelines for AI systems to better address linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of child development across diverse backgrounds.</li> <li>Document findings and recommendations with clarity and depth to support ongoing AI research and development.</li> </ol><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ol> <li>Doctorate (PhD) in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or closely related field.</li> <li>Demonstrated involvement in technology-driven, digital, or AI-focused projects relevant to child development is highly desirable.</li> <li>Comfortable working remotely on digital platforms, delivering contributions independently while engaging with a distributed team.</li> <li>We are prioritizing applicants with proficiency in one or more of these languages:<em> Japanese, French, Tagalog, Malay, Lithuanian, Russian, Georgian, Polish, Marathi, Bengali, Urdu, Vietnamese, Swahili, Mandarin, Cantonese, Indonesian, Turkish, Gujarati, Bulgarian.</em> </li> </ol><p>Originally posted on <a href="https://himalayas.app">Himalayas</a></p>
