<p><strong>Job Title: Business Development Representative (Healthcare)</strong></p><h3>Position type: Full-Time</h3><p><strong>Work hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Daylight Time, with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break</strong></p><h3>Work days: Monday to Friday</h3><h3>Salary: $6 - $7 per hour, depending on experience</h3><h3>Workplace: Remote</h3><p>Our client is a well-established U.S.-based home <strong>healthcare and staffing provider</strong> serving pediatric and adult patients. The organization provides medical and non-medical home care services, including staffing support for <strong>Medicaid waiver patients and private duty nursing cases.</strong></p><p>We are seeking a confident, proactive, and results-driven <strong>Business Development Representative</strong> to support facility outreach, business development, recruitment initiatives, and administrative coordination.</p><p>A major focus of this role will be <strong>outbound calling and relationship-building with healthcare facilities, hospitals, clinics, caseworkers, and other referral sources</strong>. You will introduce the organization's services, identify staffing and patient care opportunities, and help connect available healthcare professionals with facilities and patients who need support.</p><p>You will also assist with recruitment efforts for Medicaid waiver programs and private duty nursing cases, particularly for <strong>pediatric patients ages 0–21</strong>. Depending on your experience, you may also support insurance credentialing and other administrative workflows.</p><p>The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, persistent with follow-ups, comfortable initiating conversations, and motivated by measurable results. Candidates with <strong>healthcare credentialing experience who are also comfortable with outreach and cold calling are especially encouraged to apply.</strong></p><p>Training will be provided on the client's workflows and systems, including <strong>HHAeXchange</strong> and the selected phone/communication platform.</p><h3>Scope of Work / Responsibilities</h3><h3>Healthcare Outreach & Business Development</h3><ul>
<li>Conduct outbound calls to healthcare facilities, hospitals, clinics, caseworkers, and other potential referral or business partners</li>
<li>Introduce the organization's home healthcare and staffing services</li>
<li>Explain available staffing and private duty nursing services clearly and professionally</li>
<li>Identify facility staffing needs and potential patient care opportunities</li>
<li>Communicate with hospital and clinic caseworkers regarding private duty nursing services for pediatric patients ages 0–21</li>
<li>Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare contacts and referral sources</li>
<li>Conduct consistent follow-ups with prospective facilities and contacts</li>
<li>Help position available healthcare staffing services as a solution to identified needs</li>
<li>Coordinate appointments or follow-up conversations when appropriate</li>
<li>Track outreach activity, responses, opportunities, and next steps</li>
</ul><h3>Recruitment & Staffing Support</h3><ul>
<li>Support recruitment-focused outreach for <strong>Medicaid waiver patients and private duty nursing opportunities</strong>

<li>Contact relevant healthcare facilities and caseworkers to identify potential patient placements</li>
<li>Assist with matching available staff to appropriate patient care or staffing opportunities</li>
<li>Maintain organized records of staffing needs, opportunities, and follow-ups</li>
<li>Coordinate with the internal team regarding new staffing or patient opportunities</li>
<li>Support recruitment and placement initiatives as needed</li>
</ul><h3>Credentialing & Administrative Support</h3><ul>
<li>Assist with healthcare credentialing when within the candidate's experience</li>
<li>Contact insurance companies regarding credentialing requirements and status</li>
<li>Assist with completing credentialing processes for insurance plans the organization is not yet credentialed with</li>
<li>Follow up on outstanding credentialing information and requirements</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of credentialing progress</li>
<li>Provide general administrative and coordination support</li>
<li>Maintain organized documentation and activity records</li>
<li>Prepare and submit end-of-day updates and reports as required</li>

Credentialing Support</h3><p>Assist with insurance credentialing and follow-up when needed.
